Notice of Bereavement for Karen Darlene Rendon
Karen Darlene (Yeargins) Rendon was born October 18th, 1978, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, to the late Gregory and Catherine Yeargins. She was a faithful member of the Second Avenue Church of Christ. Darlene graduated from Marshall County High School Class of 1996 and attended Columbia State Community College. She enjoyed a career in customer service and human resources. Darlene was a devoted mother and loved making memories with her son, Kairan. They shared a love of music, movies, dancing, and making each other laugh. Darlene loved cooking (especially for others), canning, volunteering, and event planning. She was a devoted Christian and soldier of Jesus Christ, always thinking of others and showing kindness where she could.
Darlene departed this life on July 13th, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas West. She was preceded in death by her daughter Heaven Rendon, stepson Jeff Valentine Rendon, brother Brian Yeargins, and parents Gregory and Catherine Yeargins.
Left to cherish the memories of her life: her loving son Kairan Rendon, stepdaughter Annalyssa Rendon, their father Jeff Rendon, in-laws Herlinda, Rachel, Efren, and Elias Rendon, sister in love Candi Glasscock, aunt Martha Cooper, uncles James Hardin and Joe Peacock, great aunt Mary Blackman, devoted cousins Hazel Thomison & Carmen (Anthony) White, proxy parents Novella and Hundley Ford, and a host of caring cousins, friends, and extended family.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 20th, 2024, from 11 am – 2 pm at Second Avenue Church of Christ in Lewisburg. The Celebration of Darlene’s Life will begin at 2 pm with burial to follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery. Please keep the family of Darlene Rendon in your thoughts and prayers.
