Notice of Bereavement for Howard French
Howard French of Lewisburg, age 98 passed on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
He was a Deacon at Greater First Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Tennessee. He was educated in the Marshall County School System. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army and received the Victory Medal.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances, one son, John Howard, one daughter Barbara and one infant grandchild, one neice Fannie, one nephew J.B. Jr., as well as nine sisters and brothers.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. During his respite he delighted in sharing videoed church services and gospel songs with his dear cousin Jeanette, who would bring them to him in the Veterans facility.
Howard French leaves to cherish his memory: three nephews: Sidney (Willie) Mayberry and Charles (Ann) French, and Joe Mack, two great-neices, one great nephew, Jason, and one two devoted caregivers Tina (Daniel) Carter and Janette Lyttle, and many other relatives and friends. He will be missed and remembered with loving affection
He, will lie in state on Tuesday, October 8th, from 11:00 am till 12:00 noon, at Greater First Baptist Church in Lewisburg. The Funeral Serivice will begin at 12:00 noon. Pastor William H. Johnson, will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Fayetteville. Please keep the family of Howard French in your thoughts and prayers.
