We regret to inform you that Dorothy Ann Bralock, age 80, of Lewisburg, Tennessee; passed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was a member of Ransom Chapel C.P. Church in Lewisburg, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Evelyn Johnson, brother Luster Gene Brown, mother-in-law Harriett Wilkes, sister-in-law Janet Brown, brother-in-law Sonny Goodrich, as well as several aunts and uncles.
She was a graduate of Jones High School, she was salutatorian of her class. She continued her education at Columbia State and Tennessee State University. She professed her love for Christ at an early age at Ransom Chapel C.P. Church.
Dorothy worked many years at Teledyne, Kantus & Avex. She later retired at the age of sixty-two from Nichirin.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed and remembered.
Dorothy Ann Bralock is survived by her loving and devoted husband, James Bralock, three devoted nieces Daphne Jones, Darlene Shaw, and Debra Johnson. Devoted great nephew X’Zavier Garrett, devoted aunt Willie Dean Langford (husband Paul), three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Sue Goodrich, Joselyn Gumbel and Sharon Cannon, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends
Viewing and Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 am till 12:00 Noon on Saturday at the Family Life Center. The Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Mayberry’s Family Life Center, 426 Heil Quaker Ave. in Lewisburg. Please keep the family of Dorothy Bralock in your thoughts and prayers. Interment will follow in Cook Memorial Cemetery.
