Neddy Lee Hayes

We regret to inform you that Mr. Neddy Lee Hayes, age 53, passed after an extended illness on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was a member of East Side Church of Christ in Petersburg.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Deon Hayes and Ray Hayes, Sr.

Neddy Hayes, graduated from high school in Lincoln County. He was employed in Manufacturing in Marshall County until his health failed. In his respite his enjoyed spending time with his family, sports, and music. His nickname was Disco. He will be deeply missed with loving affection.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lillian Hardy Hayes of Lewisburg, two sisters: Linda L. Hayes of Lewisburg, Tennessee and Lela Ann (Calvin) Foxx of Smyrna; two brothers: Billy Warren Hayes and Robert Quincy (Patsy) Hayes of Lewisburg; one sister-in-law, Joann Hayes of Decherd, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation and viewing will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the Family Life Center, 426 Heil Quaker Avenue, Lewisburg; the Celebration of Life for Mr. Neddy Hayes will be conducted at The Family Life Center at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 13, 2017; with Bro. Webster Sparkman, Eulogist; burial will follow in Sulpher Springs Cemetery.
