Death Notice for Mrs. Mamie Lee Cartwright

We regret to inform you that Mamie Lee Cartwright, age 89, formerly of Lewisburg,passed on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Atlanta, GA. She was baptized at Hopewell A.M.E. Church and later attended Hamilton Tabernacle P.B. Church in Nashville, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Ellis and Eula Mae Fisher. She was educated in Farmington, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stewart Cartwright, five sisters and four brothers.

Mamie Cartwright, is survived by her daughter Edna Bell, husband Robert of Atlanta; four nieces: Mae Ruth Ellis, Evenlyne Wilkes, Catherine Bishop, and Rudy Fisher and many other relatives and friends.

She will Lie-in-State from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at Hopewell A.M.E. Church on Lewisburg Highway, Maury County. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
