Obituary for Jimmy Lee Davis

We regret to inform you that, Mr. Jimmy Lee Davis, age 69, formerly of Marshall County, closed his eyes for the last time on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Mattie Lou and Herbert Davis.
He accepted Christ at an early and became a member of Hopewell A.M.E. Church later his joined Bellafant Tabernacle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Hazel and Mattie B. and two infant siblings.
He was educated at Jones High in Lewisburg. He was a decidicated employee of Porter-Walker until his retirement. He will missed and remembered with loving affection.
Jimmy Lee Davis, is survived by his devoted companion, Denise Alred, four daughters: Nicole Davis, Cassandra Davis, Keisha Hannah, and Sellitta Johnson and one son Keith McFall; three sisters: Annie Jones and Vivian Davis of Lewisburg, and Janie Woodson of Columbia; two brothers: Willie F. Davis of Lewisburg and Richard Davis of Columbia, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation and Viewing will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the Family Life Center, 426 Heil Quaker Avenue, Lewisburg, Tennessee. The Funeral Service will conducted on Saturday, April 22nd, at Bellafant Tabernacle, 1607 Whatley Street in Columbia, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Claude Bellafant, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Maury County.

    So sorry to hear that Jimmy “Jam” has passed. I worked with him at Porter-Walker. He was such a good friend and a caring and giving person who always was such a positive and faithful man.
