We regret to inform you that Mr. Edward Donald Brown, age 59, died on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Thomas Medical Center Rutherford. He was the son of the late Lacy Mai Morris and the late Robert Brown. He was a member of Ransom Chapel C.P. Church.
In addition to his parents, Donnie Brown was preceded in death by his God Mother Margaret Brown, grandfather Jack Allen, two sisters Thelma Jones and Betty Jones, three God-sisters Mary Bishop, Martha Jane Jones and Sadie Osborne, one God-brother Bobby Brown, one aunt Sylvia Oneal, two uncles George Lee Baxter, Ollie Oneal and T. Ranson; two nieces Tocara and Jena Lyles, and one nephew Randall Jones.
He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard for 21 years. He was veteran of Operation Desert Storm from 1990-1991. He will be missing with loving affection.
He is survived by his wife Constance Ann Brown, two sons: Edward Keith Maxwell and Brandon Greer, three daughters: Shawanda Maxwell-Kirk, Tamika Rye and Nakisha Rye; four sisters: Donna Gail Lyles, Gwendolyn Ann Carmichael, Barbarba Roshelle Ewing and Sara Ann Layhew, a God-sister Pauline McClain, one brother James Michael Morris, nine grandchildren, two devoted friends Rico Brown and Gerry Stanford, a host of other relatives, and friends.
Viewing and Visitation will be held at the Ranson Chapel C.P. Church on Tuesday, March 24th from 5:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 25, at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Chapel in Nashville, Tennessee. Interment will follow at the Veterans Cemetery.
